BlackSolstice Technologies was founded by James Reilly, an information technology professional and U.S. military veteran with more than 16 years of experience working across technology, information security, infrastructure, systems administration, technical operations, and leadership.
His experience spans both public-sector and private technology environments, including work supporting complex organizations where security, reliability, accountability, and continuity matter.
BlackSolstice grew from a desire to take that experience beyond maintaining existing technology and use it to create something new: a technology company capable of developing its own products while helping others solve difficult problems through software, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
That vision continues to guide BlackSolstice today - build useful technology, solve meaningful problems, and keep moving forward.

BlackSolstice Technologies was created with a simple idea: technology should do more than introduce something new—it should solve a problem, improve an experience, or make something possible that wasn't possible before.
Based in Northern California, BlackSolstice is a veteran-owned technology company developing software, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity solutions, technology infrastructure, and digital products while providing technology services and consulting to businesses, organizations, and individuals.
We combine technical experience with a practical approach to problem-solving, focusing not simply on what technology can do, but on what it should do for the people who use it.
